New Delhi, 30 September (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi of Delhi. The Rashtriya Vigyan will participate in the Schhem Sevak Union (RSS) centenary celebrations as the chief guest on 1 October at Ambedkar International Center.
According to an official release by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the event will begin at 10.30 am, during which the Prime Minister will unveil a specially designed memorial postage stamps and coins to mark the occasion.
“Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address a specially designed memorial postage stamps and coins for the nation as the chief guest of the nation as the chief guest of the nation as the chief guest on 1 October 2025,” will also explain the press release.
Dr. Established in Nagpur in 1925 by Keshav Baliram Hedarwar, the RSS began as a volunteer-managed organization, which was committed to nurturing cultural awareness, discipline and social responsibility among the citizens. In the last 100 years, the RSS has developed in one of the most influential socio-cultural organizations in India.
Describing the ideological vision of the organization, the press release said, “The RSS is a unique person-Nurd movement for national reconstruction. Its rise has been seen as a response of centuries of foreign rule, with its continuous development, with its continuous development, India’s national glory is responsible for the emotional echoes of its attitude, which is inherent in religion.”
One of the main focus of the Sangh is called, the formation of national character. “It attempts to incite dedication to the motherland, discipline, self-restraint, courage and valor,” saying that the union’s final goal is “Sarvangina Annati (all-round development) of the nation”.
In the last century, the RSS and its affiliated organizations have made significant contribution in areas such as education, health, social welfare and disaster relief. RSS volunteers have played an important role in response efforts during floods, earthquakes, cyclones and other natural disasters, which often serve on the relief and rehabilitation front.
The purpose of the Shatabdi program is not only to celebrate the legacy of the organization, but also to identify its continuous role in shaping India’s cultural story and promoting unity in communities.
“Centenary celebrations not only respect the historical achievements of the RSS, but also highlight its permanent contribution to India’s cultural journey and its message of national unity,” the press release concluded.
