Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing the 200th anniversary celebrations of Swaminarayan Temple in Wattal, Gujarat via video conferencing. During this period, he expressed the need to promote local vocal music. He also said that a conspiracy was going on to divide people, society and castes. Together we must understand this crisis and defeat this type of behavior. Big goals are achieved through hard work.
Prime Minister Modi said that with the grace of Lord Swaminarayan, Vattal Dham is hosting a grand bicentenary celebration. All the Hari devotees from India and abroad come there and Swaminarayan’s tradition is that without service he has no work and today people are enthusiastically participating in service work.
“The country is moving towards clear goals”
He said the bicentennial celebration is more than just an event or a day in history. This is a huge opportunity for someone like me who has grown up with a unique belief in Vadtal Dham. I believe this opportunity for us is a testament to the eternal flow of Indian culture. Even today we retain the spiritual awareness of Vadtal Dham established by Lord Shri Swaminarayan 200 years ago.
The Prime Minister said that even today we can experience the teachings and energy of Lord Swaminarayan here. Today, a great goal has been placed in front of our young people. The entire country is moving towards a clear goal, which is a developed India.
“Connecting people with the goal of developing India”
He said, I urge the saints and mahatmas of Vadthal and the entire Swaminarayan family to connect people with the great goals of developed India, just like in the freedom movement, which for a century has been a struggle for freedom from all corners of society. The spark of longing for and independence inspires the Chinese people. There is not a day or a moment when people give up their intention and determination to be independent. For a “developed India”, 1.4 billion compatriots must have the same enthusiasm and awareness as the freedom movement at every moment.
Prime Minister Modi said that youth can and will build the nation and for this we have to create capable and educated youth. Our youth should empower ‘Developed India’. Technical youth will become our greatest strength.
