PM Modi praises Swayamsevak for putting ‘Nation First’ on RSS centenary celebrations

New Delhi, 2 October (IANS), Rashturia Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated its 100th anniversary on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Swayamsevak, who has dedicated his life to the ‘nation-country’s proposal’.

In a detailed blog post, the Prime Minister said, “A hundred years ago, on the holy occasion of Vijayadashami, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was established. It was not a completely new tradition. It was a new manifestation of an ancient tradition, where the eternal national consciousness of India is expressed in different forms, that timeless national consciousness.

He wished Swamm Sevak and the founder of RSS Dr. Payed tribute to KB Hedgewar.

PM Modi said that a parallel drawing with rivers enriching every land, PM Modi said, “Something similar has happened in the Sangh’s visit. Through its various affiliated organizations, the Sangh works in every domain of life, such as education, agriculture, social welfare, tribal welfare, tribal welfare, women empowerment and more. Highlighting the RSS’s approach, he said, “With its very establishment, the Sangh has dedicated itself to nation-building. To achieve this, it chose the path of character-building. Vikati Niraman (nation-building through character-building) ‘Shakha’ is an inspiring place where every self-journey starts from our journey and goes through the process of ‘I’.

He further stated that the foundation of the Sangh’s hundred -year journey has been laid through a national mission of personal change and the ‘Shakha’ tradition, which has shaped millions of Swamsevax, which carries India forward in diverse fields.

Recalling his role in history, the Prime Minister said, “Right from the moment of its establishment, the Sangh has considered the priority of the nation as its priority. Param Pujya Dr. Hedar ji and many Swammacak actively participated in the freedom struggle. Dr. Hedwar Ji imprisoned himself several times.

He said that after independence, the Sangh continued to work for the nation “with patriotism and service”.

He recalled the help of RSS provided to people during partitions, disasters and relief work.

The Prime Minister said that in its centenary-lambi journey, the RSS awakened confidence in all sections of the society, even reached remote tribal areas. He appreciated institutions like Sila Bharati, Vidya Bharati, Single Vidyalaya, and Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram.

Touching the role of the Sangh in dealing with social diseases, he wrote, “For centuries, social diseases like caste discrimination and untouchability have challenged for Hindu society. From the time of Dr. Hedarji, every member of the Sangh, every mustorch conductor has fought against such discrimination.”

“Param Pujya Guruji continued to carry forward the spirit of ‘Na Hindu Patito Bhavat’, which means’ No Hindu Eve Fall ‘. Pujya Balasaheb Deorus Ji announced:’ If untouchability is not wrong, nothing is wrong in the world.” Later, Pujya Rajju Bhaiya ji and Pujya Sudarshan ji also carried forward this message. ,

He said, “In the present time, the present Sarsenghchalak, honoring Mohan Bhagwat ji, has given a clear call for unity, a well, a temple, a cremation ground for all,” he said.

On contemporary challenges, the Prime Minister wrote, “When the Sangh was formed a century ago, the needs and struggles of that time were different from the people of that time. Today, as India moves towards becoming a developed nation, new challenges. There are new challenges. Dependence on foreign countries, to divide our unity, do much work.”

He said that the ‘Panch Parvartan’ of the Sangh provides a route to solve the current challenges for Swammavak-SVA-Bod (to shed self-awareness to shed the colonial mentality and to embrace Swadeshi), Samajik Samastea (Social harmony and justice with the margins) (protecting the environment for future generations).

“With these resolutions, with its own guidance, the Sangh now starts its journey in the next century. The Sangh’s contribution to the creation of Vikasit India until 2047, the Sangh’s contribution will be important. Once again, my best wishes to every self -service,” the Prime Minister concluded.
