Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 16 visited Sri Shivaji Sphoorthi Kendra in Srisailam, Andhra Pradesh and paid tribute to the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development projects worth ₹13,430 crore in sectors such as industry, power, roads, railways, defense manufacturing and energy in Kurnool.
