Chennai, 8 October (IANS) The Tamil Nadu unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “incarnation of ideals of Swami Vivekananda”, which celebrates his 25th year leadership.
In a statement, BJP state spokesperson Ans Prasad said that PM Modi’s life was “a huge will for tireless efforts and dedication”, inspired young Indians to work hard despite big dreams and difficulties.
Born in Vadnagar, Gujarat for a minor family, PM Modi overcame the initial struggles, which was helping his father’s tea stall before the Rashtriya Vidyapathi Sangh (RSS) (RSS) and later Steering Gujarat as Chief Minister from 2001 to 2014.
Prasad highlighted the major milestone received by the then Gujarat CM Modi, including a lively Gujarat Investor Summit and Jyotigram Yojana for 24X7 rural power – he was described as “benchmarks for inclusive development and modern rule”.
Since assuming office as Prime Minister in 2014, he has led nationwide reforms such as ‘Make in India’, ‘Digital India’ and ‘Antanamhar Bharat’ with the aim of strengthening India’s self -reliance and empowering the youth.
The statement said, “PM Modi’s visit shows that no dream is very big when supported with determination and vision.”
The BJP leader credited PM Modi for laying India at the forefront of clean energy through the international solar alliance and bullet trains and modern cities such as modern cities.
Social welfare schemes including Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat, BT Bachao BT Padho and Free Kovid -19 vaccine were quoted as evidence of their “compassionate governance”.
Prasad mentioned PM Modi’s ability to directly connect with the public through his monthly ‘Maan Ki Baat’ program and his efforts to revive India’s cultural pride through initiatives like Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, Statue of Unity, Global Promotion of Yoga and Ayurveda.
Calling PM Modi as “A Living Vivekananda”, Prasad urged the youth to study the life of the leader as a blueprint for personal success and public service.
The statement said that PM Modi’s mantra of ‘Seva and Surprise’ asked the youth of India to create a developed, pride and confident nation.
