PM Modi in Argentina to interact with land, President Milli

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday landed for a bilateral visit to Buenos Aires, during which he will hold talks with Argentine President Xavier Milli.

PM Modi said that his visit would focus on increasing relations with Argentina.

In a post on X, he said, “Buenos Aires for a bilateral journey, which will focus on increasing relationships with Argentina. I am eager to meet President Xavier Mele and have a detailed conversation with him.”

The official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Randhir Jaywal said that this is the first bilateral visit to Argentina by an Indian PM in 57 years.

In a post on X, he said, “Celebrating permanent friendship between our countries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Argentina for his third phase of visit to five countries. He landed in Aziza International Airport, Buenos Aires. PM Modi is on an official visit to Argentina at the Republic of Argentina, Javier Mili at the invitation of the President.

PM Modi has been scheduled to review the ongoing cooperation with the President’s Milli and to hold bilateral talks to further discuss ways to further enhance the Indo-Argentina partnership in major areas including defense, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, trade and investment, and people’s relations.

Earlier, the Indian Ambassador to Argentina Ajnesh Kumar, completing the PM’s journey program, told Annie that when reaching Argentina, PM Modi will be received in Buenos Aires by the Indian community. The next day, PM, Modi will pay tribute to Jose de San Martin, who will be widely considered as the father of the Argentina nation in the Plaza de San Martin of Buenos Aires.
