Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday presided over an important meeting in the national capital for review and reform of India’s tourism sector.
It comes after a terrorist attack in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April, causing fear among tourists.

Earlier, on 15 May, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah chaired a meeting with the Hotel Business Association at the Civil Secretariat on 15 May.
He held a meeting on 22 April to discuss his concerns after the Pahalgam terror attack. Chief Minister Abdullah assured various stakeholders present in the meeting that the government is fully committed to support the region and would carefully consider their valuable suggestions. (AI)
