Patna, November 2 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the Congress and the RJD and alleged that both the parties are internally divided over who will be the chief ministerial face for the Bihar assembly elections 2025.

Addressing a rally in Arrah, PM Modi claimed that Congress was initially not ready to give the CM post to RJD.

PM Modi claimed, “I want to share a secret. Congress was not ready to hand over the chief minister’s post to RJD. In a closed-door meeting, RJD leaders allegedly placed ‘Katta’ on the heads of Congress leaders and forced them to announce the CM face.”

He alleged that the rift between the two allies has grown so much that they are not even coordinating their manifestos or campaigns.

“This feud has escalated so much that they may start attacking each other after the elections,” he said.

PM Modi reiterated his criticism of the Jungle Raj of the RJD era, calling it an era of fear and anarchy.

“Home-made guns, brutality, bad governance, corruption – that was Jungle Raj,” he said.

He cited the 2004 case of a government doctor posted in Tarari block who was allegedly kidnapped while returning home.

PM Modi also mentioned the 1984 anti-Sikh riots and accused Congress of honoring those responsible.

He alleged, “November 1-2, 1984 – Congress members carried out the Sikh genocide. Today’s Congress still promotes criminals. Neither the Congress nor the RJD has any remorse for their sins.”

He accused RJD and Congress of supporting illegal immigrants and destroying the identity of Bihar.

PM Modi also mentioned “Operation Sindoor” and said India has shown its resolve to take action against terrorism.

He said, “We enter the houses of terrorists and eliminate them. Pakistan was shaken, but Congress-RJD became uncomfortable. You were proud of Operation Sindoor, your chest swelled with pride, but Congress-RJD did not like it. Blasts were taking place in Pakistan and the Congress royal family lost sleep. Till date, the dynastic leaders of Pakistan and Congress have not been able to recover from the shock of Operation Sindoor.”

Speaking on Article 370, PM Modi reminded the gathering that his guarantee on Jammu and Kashmir has been fulfilled.

He said, “After 70 years of independence, Article 370 was removed and the Constitution of India is now fully implemented in Jammu and Kashmir.”

The Prime Minister said the NDA has presented an honest and visionary manifesto aimed at accelerating the development of Bihar, while terming the manifesto of the rival alliance as full of lies and deception.

PM Modi said, “Every promise, every scheme is dedicated to the rapid development of Bihar. On one side there is the honest manifesto of NDA, on the other side there is the manifesto of Jungle Raj.”

He reiterated the NDA’s target of creating 1 crore jobs in the coming years and claimed that a roadmap for this has been placed before the people.

PM Modi said that with the growing global interest in Made in India products, the government aims to make Bihar a base for Make in India manufacturing by strengthening small and cottage industries across the state.

Giving an example, he said, Bihar, which was once importing fish from other states, is now exporting fish due to the policies of NDA.

He also announced increase in financial assistance under PM-Kisan scheme for small farmers in Bihar.

“At present, farmers get Rs 6,000 annually under PM-Kisan. The new NDA government in Bihar will increase this amount by another Rs 3,000,” he said.

He also highlighted the recently announced Bihar Milk Mission aimed at increasing the income of cattle farmers.

PM Modi said that the focus of NDA is to ensure that the youth of Bihar get opportunities within the state.

He said, “Our resolve is that the youth of Bihar will work in Bihar and bring glory to Bihar.”
