Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed confidence ahead of the Lok Sabha elections and asked ministers to draft a roadmap for the new government’s first 100 days and the next five years. The BJP hopes to come to power for a third consecutive term in elections announced by the Election Commission yesterday. Voting will begin on April 19 and end on June 1. Results will be announced on June 4.

Sources said that during the cabinet meeting this morning, Prime Minister Modi asked the ministers to meet secretaries and other officials of their departments to discuss the agenda.

Prime Minister Modi has announced several goals for his third term, including making India the world’s third-largest economy by reviving manufacturing, tightening control over supply chains and creating jobs.

Last month, Prime Minister Modi, while replying to a discussion on the motion of thanks during the President’s address in the Lok Sabha during the budget session, said he believed that in the third term of the NDA, India will become the world’s third largest economy, from the current The fifth position rose.

Prime Minister Modi also predicted that women’s empowerment will increase during his third term.

The Cabinet today also initiated the process of notifying the dates for the seven-phase assembly elections by sending the recommendations of the Election Commission to President Drupadi Murmu.

The first notification will be issued on March 20 and the first phase of voting will be held on April 19 for 102 seats. With the release of the notification, the nomination process for specific stages begins.

The BJP is confident that the Narendra Modi government will serve its third consecutive term this year with a huge mandate. The Prime Minister predicts that his party will win 370 seats, with the New Development Party winning 400 seats.
