according to Houston ChronicleJafar received his medical license in Texas in 2009. In 2022, one of his patients filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexually assaulting her during a breast augmentation that year, which is still ongoing.
Houston Methodist Hospital, which allegedly once employed or contracted with Jafar, told local broadcaster Fox 26: “We can confirm that as soon as we learned of the indictment, this physician’s privileges were immediately suspended, pending further investigation.
“He has not had any surgery at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital for many years.”
