City manager Guardiola said: “I think he has a contract with us for another year.
“The important thing is that he is back. He has a massive influence in Everton games. After what happened, maybe Manchester City want him back, but I don’t know.

Guardiola joked that if he were the opposition manager he would need to have “four central defenders” on him.
He added: “I had the pleasure of facing him when he was at Dortmund and hopefully I won’t face him again in my life.
“He’s a top-class player. In world football, there are four, five, six, 10 players who make the difference. I think he’s one of them. Hopefully we’ll have him for many more years, and we’re really happy about that.”
Asked if he thought it was Haaland’s best performance, the Spaniard said: “I think it is.
“He feels really good and his performance level, not only in terms of goals but in many things, is excellent.”
Guardiola feels little need to manage Haaland at the moment and will only step in if he has a poor spell.
He added: “What I’m saying is, (he’s) going to leave because it’s impossible to sustain, (but) I’ll be there, we’ll be there.
“We always have to support (each other) in bad moments. Now, he doesn’t need compliments and doesn’t need anything special.”
