Haaland’s brace brought the season to a remarkable 23 appearances for club and country from 13 appearances.
He has failed to score in only one of these games and has now scored in 11 consecutive matches.

“But at the same time, we can’t just rely on Erling to do good things.

While Haaland has scored nine times in the Premier League this season, only four other City players have scored – and each of them have done so only once.
Guardiola said: “They have to score. It’s OK if we don’t score, but if we do they have to score.”
“But they know it. We’ve talked about it for a long time.”
“They are good. I saw in the training sessions that the finishing is good, and I have no doubts. With luck, they will score.”
Haaland broke the deadlock in the 58th minute and then City were made to work hard by a determined Everton before effectively ending the contest with his second goal five minutes later.
Guardiola said: “We got another win and it’s good to start again after 10 days.

everton manager david moyes Felt his team performed well but admitted Haaland made the difference.
Scott spoke to the City forward as he left the field.
Asked what he thought, Moyes said: “I wish he was somewhere else! Most managers think the same, don’t they?”
“Mainly I thought we did a really good job on him, but then he might not do anything for 60 minutes and you’re going to talk about those two or three minutes when he does that.
“I think his ability to score, he has something that others don’t have.
“Manchester City played well and created chances but we did a good job for most of an hour.
“The first goal was disappointing, the second goal was even more disappointing because it made it really difficult to get back into it.
“But we did a lot of good things and there are no disappointments for me about the game.”
