Pensioners found dead after heavy discovery on popular beach

A Searching A popular tourist in Devon has recovered the body of an elderly person from the beach.

The Xmouth Police shared a statement on social media: “This morning officials of the Exmouth Petrol and Rural East Davon Petrol supported the Xmouth and Beer Coastguard Search and Rescue Teams, Sidmouth Independent Lifeboat, Costguard Helicopter and South West Ambulance Service, which is with an incident under the Big Picket Rock.

“A person was recovered by Sidmouth’s ‘Speedy Sid’ Inshore Lifeboat and was conveyed to Sidmouth Beach, but unfortunately he died. The family has been informed and our collective views are with them in this difficult time.

“Finally it was finalized in Sidmouth, thanks to the CG helicopter landing with CG with CG and thanks to your patience.”

There is a solitary pebble beach between Ladrum Bay Sidmouth and Budlegh Salterton, which has become a popular holiday destination with caravan and holiday park nearby.
