Pedestrians were seriously injured after being killed by a vehicle in northern York

A male pedestrian has been rushed to a hospital with serious, possibly deadly injuries after being killed by a vehicle in northern York on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency employees were called in Jane Street and Fith Road area at around 3:23 pm

Toronto paramedics ran the victim, who is not in an accurate age in the hospital.

Police say the driver stayed at the scene.

There is no word at the potential fee at the point.

All southeast lanes of Jane Street are currently closed on the Fith Road, and one north side of Jane is also closed to a north side.
