People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti has urged the central government to take immediate steps to ensure the safe return of Indian students, which are trapped in Iran amidst the ongoing Israeli-Iran-Iran struggle.
Taking in ‘X’, Mehboba Mufti wrote, “Families of students trapped in Iran are rapidly worried with each passing day. I honestly urge the Ministry of External Affairs to intervene and take immediate steps to ensure a safe return of my loved ones.”
Earlier on Sunday, according to a statement by the Indian Embassy Foreign Minister in Tehran, the current security situation is actively working to ensure the safety and welfare of Indian students studying in Iran.
