Srinagar, August 06: The ruling National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah said on Wednesday that he would increase the restoration of the state on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir in the meeting of India block parties in Delhi the next day.
Farooq Abdullah was answering a question about the letter of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday, which included the presidents of 42 political parties, Mallikrajun Kharge, the head of the Congress, urged him to suppress the Center to bring JK to the state to bring a law in the ongoing Parliament session for the state.
Abdullah told reporters in Anantnag district in South Kashmir, “I am going there yesterday. A Congress leader has called all opposition leaders. I will raise the issue there and hope that they are standing with us before, and will stand with us in future too.”
The head of Nekan also said that JK is likely to be heard by the Supreme Court on Friday for the restoration of restoration of the state.
He said, “The Supreme Court (August) is being heard in the state case on 8. Therefore, we should wait and see what happens there,” he said.
For a question about the criticism of the ruling party of the Mehboba Mufti-Left People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senior Abdullah said that it is the PDP that has brought “bad luck” to us.
“They shake hands with the BJP. What will they tell us? Unfortunately, they are fooling people. Articles 370 and 35A were not canceled (former CM) Mufti (Mohammad Sayeed) accepted the national conference and support from the Congress.
He said, “We had asked him to take our support and we did not want any ministry. But they brought the BJP here and they are responsible. God has drowned him first and will immerse him in the future too,” he said. (PTI)
