“Today I’m super excited to share my newest song co-written by my good friend @sean_ono_lennon,” James wrote in the caption of a photo of him and Sean.
Not only that, but he also hinted at more music on the way, promising fans more to come in the near future.
Additionally, James announced that fans will have a chance to participate in the upcoming music video for “Primrose Hill” by submitting a video and entering the contest before the end of the week starting April 15.
After the song was released, 81-year-old Paul McCartney proudly expressed his support for his son James. The rock legend wrote on Facebook: “My son James has a new song out called ‘Primrose Hill’ – come listen to it!”
He also paid tribute to his former bandmate’s son, writing: “And huge love to Sean Ono Lennon who co-wrote this song.”
