The victim told police she had bruises and called a car service to drive her and the child to Delaware.
The argument reportedly took place in the presence of the two’s 2-year-old child, according to WCVB.
The victim initially hesitated to file charges in September, fearing retaliation. In early December, the victim told police via email that she did not wish to proceed with legal proceedings.
The complaint was issued on December 16. Barmore is scheduled for February 3, five days before the 2026 Super Bowl takes place in California.

The New England Patriots also released a statement regarding the allegations against Barmore.
