Parliament monsoon session: Lok Sabha MPs paid homage to Pahgam Terror Attack, AI -171 Crash victim

Members of the Lok Sabha, the beginning of the monsoon session of Parliament, on Monday paid tribute to the victims of the Pahgam terror attack and the Air India AI -171 aircraft accident.

Lok Sabha MPs saw a two -minute silence to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in tragic incidents.

The terrorist attacks in Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April claimed the lives of 26 people, while 260 people died on June 12 in an Air India flight accident.

Earlier today, while addressing the media persons before the commencement of the session, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the achievements of Operation Sindoor, saying that the whole world is “newly as Indian military power” in a new form.

The Prime Minister also spoke of the Indian defense forces on the spectacular success of Operation Sindoor, stating that the objectives of the target were achieved 100 percent and the terrorist bases were surprised in just 22 minutes.

“This monsoon session is a celebration of victory. The whole world has seen the strength of India’s military power. The target set by the Indian Army in Operation Sindoor was achieved by 100 percent. Under Operation Sindoor, the masters’ houses of the terrorists were taken to the ground within 22 minutes. The Prime Minister said.

Meanwhile, the opposition India Block said it would increase the issues of Pahalgam terror attack and Air India AI -171 aircraft accident during the Parliament session.

The monsoon session of Parliament started today and will continue from August 12 to August 18 to August 18 with a break from August 21. A total of 21 will sit during 32 days. (AI)
