United States Washington:
The United States said on Sunday that multinational talks in Paris had reached an “understanding” on a possible agreement on the release of Hamas hostages and a new ceasefire in the Middle East.
“Representatives from Israel, the United States, Egypt and Qatar met in Paris and the four countries reached a consensus on the basic framework of a temporary hostage ceasefire agreement,” White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan told CNN.
