Pandit Deen Dayal Seva Pratisha stands as a true symbol of integral humanism and ‘Antowode’: Maha CM

Yavatmal, September 29 (IANS) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Monday that Bharatiya Jan Sangh leader Dindal Upadhyay dedicated his entire life to bring the poor, deprived and marginalized classes to the mainstream and ensured their overall development.

The Chief Minister said that to spread his message of integral humanism and ‘Antyodai’ across the country, Pandit Dendayal Seva Pratiksha stands as a true symbol.

He was speaking to organize a civilized Upadhyay Jayanti celebrations organized by Seva Prakrithana at Yavatmal.

Chief Minister Fadnavis said that the institute established in Yavatmal about 25 years ago has expanded like a huge banyan tree today.

He said that the institution is supporting the women of farmer families affected by suicides, as well as the very backward Pardi is supporting the tribal community.

Pratishan has created a living example of social change inspired by Pandit Dandayal’s integral humanism and Antayodai’s perspective, the Chief Minister said.

He highlighted Dandayal Upadhyay’s life journey, saying that despite his difficult circumstances he pursued education with determination.

Even when offered a government job, the Bharatiya Jana Sangh leader rejected it, instead chose to dedicate his life to serve the society.

After coming in contact with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Desayal Upadhyay became a full -time worker.

Later, with the formation of the Bharatiya Jan Sangh, he assumed responsibilities as Uttar Pradesh, All India General Secretary and later the head of the national president.

Despite holding such high positions, he lived a life of sacrifice and simplicity.

“During the time of Deendayalji, capitalism and communism dominated the global idea. Nevertheless, he presented a third option – saying that his way of life of India has organized the key to social and economic change. The basic national development of integral humanism is in Antayode – It is believed that true national development, the last person in the society can advance the last person in the society.

He said that Dandial Service Prarthana has also launched a model project on natural farming based on the ideals of Dandialji.

He said that its purpose is to reduce production costs by reducing chemical fertilizers and pesticides, increasing soil fertility.

Maharashtra has targeted to bring 25 lakh hectares under natural farming, of which 13 lakh hectares have already been achieved.

Along with this, initiatives are underway to convert Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Samradhi Yojana and primary societies into multipurpose institutions.

The Chief Minister said, “To empower women, the ‘Lakhpati Didi’ scheme has been launched, which aims to make one crore women financially independent in Maharashtra.”

“Since women are taking true care of families, empowering them ensures the development of the whole house,” he said.
