Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayeh announced the resignation of his government, which rules parts of the occupied West Bank, on Monday.
“I submit my resignation from the government to Mr. President (Mahmoud Abbas),” Shtayyeh said, adding that this follows “developments related to the aggression against the Gaza Strip and the escalation in the West Bank and Jerusalem.” Proposed.
