“Pakistan’s lie date returned in 1947; escalation will be completed with proper response”: Vikram Misri

Rejecting Pakistan’s claims that it demolished Indian jets, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri called the claims a baseless publicity, called it part of the long -running pattern of wrong information.

He further recalled how Pakistan has been resorting to lies since its establishment in 1947, including refusal to involve the invasion of Jammu and Kashmir before the United Nations.

Addressing a press briefing on Thursday, Misri said, “There is nothing surprising. Finally, it is a country that started lying soon as a birth. In 1947, when the Pakistani army claimed Jammu and Kashmir, he lied to any random person, but nothing to do for the United Nations.”

Misri also dismissed Pakistan’s allegation that India had targeted the Neelam-Jhelum dam in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (Pojk), “absolutely coined and a lie.”

Emphasizing that India’s operations have been limited to the terrorist infrastructure, Misri warned that if such false claims are being used as an excuse to target Indian infrastructure, Pakistan will bope with responsibility for the results that follow.

Misri said, “Pakistan also alleged that we have targeted the Neelam-Zhelam dam in the address, which is completely coined and a clear lie. India has only targeted the terrorist infrastructure. If such a claim is an excuse to target Indian infrastructure of a uniform nature, Pakistan will be fully responsible.”

He said, “Now if an attempt is made by Pakistan to move forward, it will be answered in a suitable domain and hence the option to make Pakistan completely.”

After the terrorist attack in Pahgam in Jammu and Kashmir in India on 22 April, the Indian armed forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Wednesday, after making accurate attacks on nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and after Jammu and Kashmir (Pojk) in Pakistan, after the deadly attack in Pahgam
