Srinagar, 30 April: Army officials said that the Pakistan Army has re -violated the ceasefire agreement, which has initiated small arms firing unfilled with the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir for the sixth consecutive day.
According to official sources, during the night of 29-30 April, Pakistani posts set fire to the Center area in front of the LoC in front of Nowshera, Sundarbani and Akhnoor areas. The Indian Army responded rapidly and proportional to the provocation.
Further reports confirmed that in Baramulla and Kupwara districts, similar incidents of unsecured small arms fire were reported from Pakistani posts across the LOC. Additionally, firing was reported in the International Border (IB) in the Pargwal region.
