In a recent interview with something very excitingYasir talked about the Indian TV industry. According to the 39-year-old, the Indian TV show “is poison drama [poison drama], He made this comment when the host asked him why Pakistani TV shows are popular, especially in India. Yasir said,Have you seen Indian drama? Meaning, those nations which have low quality drama are definitely watching our drama. Apart from him, who is watching your drama? Your drama is being watched only by those people whose money is not improving their drama. There is such intense drama in India. Our drama is so much better than this, that’s why they are watching it. [Have you seen the Indian dramas? Nations with low-quality and disgusting content are watching our dramas. Who else is watching Pakistani dramas? Indian drama is poison. Pakistani dramas are better than the ones created in India, that’s why people are watching them.],

Yasir Hussain also criticized Pakistan TV industry. He said, “Our industry is not any other industry. I don’t want my son to enter this industry. I don’t have the heart to become an actor. [Our industry is not a good industry. I don’t want my son to join this industry. I don’t want him to become an actor.],

He continued, “What is the use of this? The job of an actor is to do a good acting. There is only one field to master your craft, but the one that is generally being offered is of no use to you. This good thing is being offered in TV. Those dramas which are becoming hit, which you review, where are the good dramas? [Is this a job? An actor’s job is to do good acting. It’s a field where you should promote your craft, but consistently, you are being offered bad work. Bad work is being offered on TV],

During a segment of the interview Yasir Hussain also claimed that the Pakistan film industry can make films with a lower budget than India. Pointing towards Rishabh Shetty’s Kantara, Yasir said, “Kantara was made with a budget of Rs 13 crore. In Pakistan we can make the same kind of film with a much lower budget. Because things are cheap here. In our country, directors of photography do not charge huge fees and it is the same with actors in Pakistan.
