“Pakistan saw the day of its Holocaust” during Operation Sindoor on the night of 6 May: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that Pakistan saw the “day of his Holocaust” during Operation Sindoor on the night of 6 May, a deep strike mission said that Pakistan left the army and terrorists.

Addressing a public meeting in J-K KK Rasi, PM Modi said, “Remember, a month ago, on the night of 6 May, Pakistan saw its Holocaust day. Now, whenever Pakistan hears Operation Operation Sindoor’s name, it will miss its shameful defeat.
He said that Operation Sindoor demonstrated the strength of Antrinabhar India and praised the armed forces for his belief in ‘Make in India’. “You have noticed how Operation Sindoor has shown the power of India. Every Indian has to repeat what the army has done …” He said.
He announced the youth of Jammu and Kashmir in this year’s budget, urged to actively participate in mission construction. “I want to ask the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to join this mission … your thoughts and skills will take India’s economy and security to new heights,” he said.
The Prime Minister also announced financial assistance for the families affected by border shelling. He said that the shelling from across the border will provide Rs 2 lakh to the fully damaged houses, while partially damaged houses will be given Rs 1 lakh.
He said, “The suffering of more than 2000 families affected by shelling is also our own grief … Now, those houses which have suffered heavy damage will be given Rs 2 lakh, and partially damaged people will get Rs 1 lakh more,” he said.
He also highlighted security and infrastructure in the border areas, saying that two border battalions have been formed for Jammu and Kashmir Division, work to create two women battalions has also been completed, and more than Rs 4,2000 crore is being spent to improve the infrastructure along the international border.
The PM said, “A new infrastructure of hundreds of crores is being developed in struggling areas near our international border.”
PM Modi also created a strong pitch to promote indigenous products as an Act of patriotism. He said, “We have to take another resolution: We have to give priority to the goods made in India made with sweat of our countrymen. This is patriotic. It is a service for the nation. We have to increase the honor of our army on the border and increase the pride of make in India in the market.”
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated several major infrastructure projects in Rasi districts of Jammu and Kashmir. These included Chenab Railway Bridge, the world’s highest railway Arch Bridge and Fort Bridge, India’s first cable-state rail bridge. He also flagged off two Vande Bharat Express trains from Katra railway station, increasing direct connectivity between Jammu Division and Kashmir. (AI)
