Officials said Srinagar, May 08: Pakistani troops resorted to uncomfortable shelling along the Line of Control in Kupwara and Baramulla districts of Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday late evening.
The Boniyar region of Baramulla and the Tangdhar region of Kupwara district were targeted by Pakistan, but till now there were no casualties reported. On the night of intervention of May 7 and 8, the Pakistan Army took out small arms and artillery guns across the LoC in the opposite areas of Kupwala, Baramullah, Uri and Akhnoor regions in JK. The Indian Army responded proportularly.
