The pain of the victims of the Pahgam terror attack, especially daughters and children’s families, weighed their hearts, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that whoever attacks Indian citizens will be spared, even if it hides under the earth.
PM Modi, while addressing a public meeting in Varanasi, mentioned the Pahgam terror attack on 22 April, according to the news agency- Kashmir News Observer (KNO), in which 26 civilians were released, most of the tourists died. He said, “Operation Sindoor was started to avenge the attack on our unarmed citizens and display India’s military resolutions,” he said.
PM Modi said, “This operation is my first visit to Varanasi after vermilion. The whole world has seen how India responded through its indigenous strength. Whoever attacks India will not be spared.”
He said, “The pain of the families of the victims, especially daughters and children weighed heavy on my heart. I had prayed to Baba Vishwanath to give strength to those families. I had vowed to avenge the sindoor of my daughters,”
In particular, although the incident mainly marked the opening of the development projects of the rupee: Rs 2,200 crore and PM-farmer’s release of Rs 20,500 crore as the 20th installment, the Prime Minister’s sharp comments on Kashmir and the reaction of the opposition created a buzz.
The PM alleged sympathy for the terrorists, saying that some leaders also questioned why the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack were rapidly abolished.
He said, “The country should wait before responding to terror? The same people once gave clean chits to the accused of the bomb blast and withdrew the cases during their tenure,” he said.
On Operation Sindor, he said, “India demonstrated the ability of our home-developed defense technology to the world, including the air defense system and Brahmin missiles.”
He also said that the production of Brahma will soon start in Uttar Pradesh, which will further strengthen India’s self-sufficiency in defense (KNO)
