Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday, December 26, lauded the investigation into the Pahalgam terror attack and Delhi blasts cases, saying these are not cases of ordinary policing but excellent examples of impeccable investigation.

Lauding the security forces for neutralizing the perpetrators of the Baisaran Valley (Pahalgam) terror attack, Shah said the terrorists wanted to disrupt communal harmony in the country and give a blow to the new era of development and tourism that has started in Kashmir.

Inaugurating a two-day anti-terrorism conference organized by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) here, he said the outcome of the investigation into the Pahalgam terror attack will put Pakistan in the dock at international forums.

The Home Minister said that the security forces, based on very accurate intelligence, killed all three terrorists, which sent a strong message to Pakistan.

He said, this is the first terrorist incident in which those who planned the terrorist act were punished through Operation Sindoor and those who carried out the act with the weapons provided to them were neutralized through Operation Mahadev.

Shah said that from both sides, the Government of India, Indian security forces and the people of the country have given a strong and appropriate response to the terrorist masters of Pakistan through the security forces and intelligence agencies.

The minister said that a thorough and successful investigation into the Pahalgam terrorist attack was conducted, which will be studied by agencies across the world.

Shah praised the investigation by Jammu and Kashmir Police and Delhi Police for exposing the entire network behind the Red Fort area blast case.

He said, “…the investigation of Pahalgam and Delhi blasts cases is an excellent example of not ordinary policing but of impeccable investigation. It is also a great example of how an alert officer can save the country from such a big crisis by being alert all the time.”

He mentioned that the scenario of terrorism in the world is now changing due to technological advancement as well as use of technology in terrorist incidents and we should also be prepared to stop it. He said that it is the national responsibility of this conference to anticipate and prevent future invisible challenges.

Shah said that all the agencies of the Government of India should work together with the state police to form a ‘Team India’ which will work effectively for national security.
