MIAL said, during this period, IndiGo deployed a total of 3,171 flights, of which it could operate only 2,266 services.
Also, the beleaguered airline delayed a total of 1,475 flights (by more than 30 minutes) during the period under review.
According to MIAL, the major affected areas in Mumbai include Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Cochin, Goa, Lucknow on domestic routes, while on international routes Amsterdam and Istanbul saw peak disruption on December 4 and 5.
Earlier in the day, Madhu Sudan Shankar, joint secretary in the civil aviation ministry, reviewed the situation at the Mumbai airport in the wake of the IndiGo disruption.
IndiGo has been facing significant operational disruptions since last week, after the new crew rostering rules came into force, allowing increased rest periods for pilots and other staff, resulting in cancellation and delay of hundreds of flights.
