Ontario Provincial Police is investigating on Saturday after three years of drowning in the community of Long Salt.
Police say that emergency services were called to a child around 5:45 pm on Rosh Beach, which had no significant indications.
They say that the off-duty medical professional was trying to revive the child.
Police say the child was rushed to the hospital and died three years, despite life -saving efforts.
The child is not being identified out of honor for the family.
Long Salt Cornwal is located about 15 km west to the west of Onts.
The provincial police is raising awareness for prevention of sinking as the number of drowning in Eastern Ontario this year was doubled in 2024 by this time.
Last week, a three -year -old child drowned in the Sandbanks Provincial Park, playing with family members in a shallow area of water.
