A collision has killed a teenage girl and another is a fight for her life, including a personal watercraft on Lake St. Claire, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) confirmed,
The incident occurred in the water of Lakhshore, east of Windsar, Onts at 2 pm on Thursday. According to the OPP, four girls between the ages of 15 to 17 were involved in a single-foot accident.
A 17 -year -old girl from Essex County was rushed to the hospital, but was later succumbed to her injuries. Another girl aged 16 was taken to a trauma center with a threat to life.
Two other teenagers aged 15 and 17 were also hospitalized and are expected to recover.
The police is urging someone who has seen the conflict or know about the incident of contacting OPP.
The OPP said in a statement posted on social media, “Our thoughts are with family and all those affected by this heartbreaking incident.”
