Operation Sindhu: Two withdrawal flights from Iran region to enter Delhi tonight

Two flights are scheduled to come to Delhi tonight as part of Operation Indus to vacate Indian citizens trapped in Iran due to Israeli-Iran struggle.

According to sources, two withdrawal flights will come to India tonight. The first flight is expected to land in Delhi around 11:30 pm, and the second flight will also land in Delhi at around 3 pm. The first flight will come from Mashhad, and the second flight will come from Ashgabat.

The Government of India has introduced Operation Sindhu to vacate Indian citizens from Iran, given the deteriorating situation as a result of the ongoing struggle between Iran and Israel.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah provided an update on the withdrawal of Indian students, mostly from Jammu and Kashmir, stuck in Iran due to the ongoing Israeli-Iran struggle, stressed on the use of land routes in Armenia for their safe return.

He said that more than 300 to 400 students are expected to reach safe areas till date, from where they will be returned to India via Armenia.

He said, “We cannot do them overnight because no airports are open, no ports are operational.

Amidst increasing tension between Iran and Israel, Abdullah called for de-escation through dialogue.

“India-Pakistan issue is a different case, and the Israel-Iran issue is different. In any case, the bombing should never have started. Earlier, when the head of American intelligence was asked if Iran had nuclear weapons, he said that he did not think that he had attacked the Israel within a few months.”
