Emphasizing that the targets of defense production of Rs 1.75 lakh crore and defense export of Rs 30,000 crore have been set for this year, on Tuesday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized that in the last 11 years, the government has changed India’s security equipment by changing the attitude towards every issue related to national security.
Addressing a dialogue on ‘National Security and Terrorism’ held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand today, Singh said, “In the last 11 years, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-Nedician government has changed India’s security equipment by changing the attitude and manner of action against every issue related to national security, and the world has seen this change during operation vermilion.”
He described Operation Sindoor as the biggest action against terrorism in Indian history, in response to a cowardly terrorist attack on innocent people in Pahgam.
“After the cancellation of Article 370, JK became involved in the era of peace and progress. Our neighbors could not tolerate it and carried out a terrorist attack in Pahgam. Despite Pakistan’s best efforts, it is not able to stop the development in Kashmir. Say ‘I am, Bharat’,” Said Rajnath Singh.
Rajnath Singh said that while the Indian armed forces have responded to terrorists, it is mandatory to stop terrorist incidents in Pahgam in future. He emphasized the need to be vigilant not only at the level of governments, but also at the public level.

“Terrorists are not fighters with one reason. No religious, ideological or political reason can justify terrorism. Any human purpose can never be achieved through bloodshed and violence. India and Pakistan have gained independence at the same time, but today, India has been recognized as the mother of democracy, which is the father of global terrorism.
Singh urged the international community to stop foreign funds to Pakistan, saying that a large part of this financial aid is spent on terrorism. “Funding Pakistan means funding the infrastructure of terrorism. Pakistan is a nursery of terrorism. It should not be nurtured,” he said.
The Defense Minister asked to think more seriously on issues such as terrorism such as terrorism such as Terrorism, such as “when we are free from terrorism, will we be able to move towards the goal of global peace, progress and prosperity, saying” only when we are free from terrorism. “
In addition, Rajnath Singh listed the steps taken by the government to strengthen the defense sector, in which Rs 2.53 lakh crore in the financial year (FY) 2013-14 increased the defense budget to Rs 6,22 lakh crore in financial year 2024-25; To release 75% of the budget for capital procurement from domestic companies and a total of 10 positive indigenization lists, which include more than 5,500 items.
