Toronto-Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board says it earned a six-month net return for the first half of 2025.
The 12 -month net return of the fund was 7.1 percent.
The pension fund manager says that the net assets were $ 269.6 billion on June 30.
Ontario’s chief executive Joe Taylor says that the total fund returns were mainly run by their investment in public property, especially gold.
Taylor says that the private property of the fund was generally flat in the period depicting a challenging environment.
Ontario teachers manage investment for 343,000 working members and pensioners.
