A teenager from Eastern Ontario is accused of attacking a child after attacking a child last month.
Ontario Provincial Police says they responded to a missing child report on 24 June in Quadville, about 170 km west of Ottawa.
Police say the child was found with life-threatening injuries the next morning.
They say that the child lives under medical care.
The OPP says the initial evidence suggested a potential animal attack, but the recent tests of samples taken from the baby wounds have no marks of animal DNA.
A 17 -year -old boy has been arrested and accused of attempting murder and sexual harassment with a weapon.
