OnePlus Watch 2 officially released; expected to be launched on February 26

OnePlus Watch 2 is expected to launch soon. Details about the smartwatch have been making the rounds over the past few weeks. It is expected to succeed the OnePlus Watch, which was launched in India in April 2021. The OnePlus Watch 2 is expected to be an upgrade over the previous model. Previous leaks have hinted at the smart wearable’s key features, design renders, and hinted at its release timeline. Now the company has officially teased the watch.

In a post on X, OnePlus shared an image with a watch face outline and the caption “It’s about time,” hinting at the launch of a new smartwatch, possibly the OnePlus Watch 2. There are two buttons on the right side of the round body – one may be the home button, while the other looks like a rotating crown and may also have a function.

The company also shared the teaser with the OnePlus community postal, they asked people to guess what the product was, noting that only “wrong answers” were acceptable and “the best wrong answer would win the correct prize.” The contest is open to all users from India, North America, and Europe and will end on February 26 at 5 pm IST, which is likely to be the date OnePlus launches the product.

Supporting this theory is the claim of tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb), who state OnePlus Watch 2 will be launched on February 26. This is also consistent with the leaker’s previous statement that the smartwatch will be launched during the 2024 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona from February 26 to February 29.

It was earlier reported that OnePlus Watch 2 will be equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset, and is expected to be equipped with WearOS 3 or WearOS 4. Standard) website hints at an imminent launch in India.
