OnePlus Pad 2 expected to launch in second half of 2024

The OnePlus Pad 2 may launch in China later this year. The company has not yet revealed any details about the tablet. However, rumors about the alleged model have surfaced online. A source suggested a release timeline for the tablet. It is expected to succeed the OnePlus Pad, which was launched globally in February 2023 and launched in India in April of the same year. The OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to come with upgraded features over the previous model.

The tablet is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It ships with OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13.

In the camera department, the OnePlus Pad comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The tablet is equipped with a 9,510mAh battery and supports 67W wired SuperVOOC fast charging. It measures 258mm x 189.4mm x 6.5mm and weighs 552g.

Meanwhile, the company also launched the OnePlus Pad Go in India in October 2023, priced at Rs. The Wi-Fi only version is priced at $19,999 for the 8GB + 128GB option. It comes in a dual mint colorway. The tablet features an 11.35-inch 2.4K LCD screen, MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, 8-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera, and an 8,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging support.
