The OnePlus Buds V were launched in China on Thursday, March 21, alongside the OnePlus Ace 3V. This truly wireless headset features dual 12.4mm drivers and offers three custom preset sound modes. The earphones also come with AI-powered noise cancellation that is said to help users experience clearer calls. They are compatible with OnePlus phones running ColorOS 11 or OxygenOS 11 and above, as well as other Android models running Android 7.0-based UI or above. The headphones are currently available for pre-order and will go on sale later this year.
OnePlus Buds V is priced at CNY 179 (approximately Rs. 2,100) in China.The headphones are currently available for pre-order via Oppo China electronic store. The headphones come in three colors: Interstellar Blue, Silver Sand White, and Shadow Black. Customers who pre-order the audio wearable can enjoy a discounted price of CNY 149 (approximately Rs. 1,700). They will be available in China on March 25th.
The OnePlus Buds V feature 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers that are said to deliver clear audio and more pronounced bass. The headphones support Dolby Panoramic Sound and are said to offer a better experience when paired with Dolby Atmos-enabled OnePlus smartphones.
The newly launched true wireless earphones are pre-installed with three customized sound modes: balanced, deep bass and clear and bright. Users can also personalize equalizer settings using the HeyMelody app. They feature dual microphones with AI-powered noise cancellation that helps filter out background noise, providing improved voice input during calls.
In terms of battery life, the OnePlus Buds V are said to offer up to 8 hours of playback time on a single charge and up to 38 hours of playback time using the charging case. The case has a USB Type-C charging port. The company also says that one hour of charging can give the earphones up to five hours of playback time.
OnePlus Buds V also supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with low latency of 94ms. The headphones are said to be a lightweight wearable device, with each earbud weighing 4.3 grams. They also offer intuitive touch controls that users can use to manage music playback, answer or end calls, and more.
