One-year-old child attacked and killed by stray dog ​​in Telangana

In a heartbreaking incident reported from Telangana, a one-year-old child was attacked and killed by a stray dog ​​when he came out of a hut in search of his mother at midnight on Thursday.

The shocking incident took place at the Shamshabad Municipal Headquarters in Rangareddy District of Telangana.

The case is under the jurisdiction of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) police station, which informed Kolla that the couple Suryakumar and Yadamma belong to Nagaram village in Devarakadra mandal in Mahabubnagar union district.

The two moved to Shamshabad with their one-year-old child Nagaraju in search of livelihood and lived in a thatched hut near Lalaguda.

Adama was in labor pains of pregnancy and was taken to the hospital, while his son and husband stayed at home.

On Wednesday night, police said the one-year-old cried and his father comforted him before falling asleep again.

But after some time, Nagaraju got up again and walked out of their makeshift hut in search of his mother Yadamma. As soon as he went out, a group of stray dogs attacked him nearby.

Commuters and passers-by on the road chased away the dog and tried to rescue the toddler, but their efforts were in vain and Nagaraju succumbed to his injuries.

The couple has three sons, including Nagaraju. One of their sons died from health problems, and the other died seven days after he was born.

In an unrelated incident, a four-month-old boy succumbed to his injuries after being “attacked” by a stray dog ​​in a hut in Shekpet area, officials said.

They said the baby’s parents, both workers, left him in a cradle in a hut and went to work.

A civil affairs official said it was understood that three stray dogs approached the hut and one of them entered the doorless hut and bit the boy on the face and forehead.

The boy was then taken to a public hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment, the official said. The boy’s parents are from Mahabubnagar district in Telangana.
