one third of boys think women‘S rights are unimportantA new survey has revealed something shocking.

The research, which will be presented to Parliament on Thursday, also found that over a third (32 per cent) of boys would consider AI friendship, while more than half (53 per cent) consider the online world more beneficial than the real world.

Many boys were found to turn to chatbots for emotional support, friendship and romantic relationships, with one saying, “I have AI friends and girlfriends, they’re always there whenever you feel bored,” and another saying, “I talk to an AI app, it makes me feel like I’m not on my own.”

According to the survey, boys aged 11 to 15 were divided between not trusting anything online because it is all fake, to saying that some sexist voices are part of the “new system” because what they say is true, with 82 per cent not even trusting UK politicians, according to the survey.

Some noted that they feel girls are respected, but boys are often seen as part of the problem and that due to feminism, boys are blamed, with 54 percent believing that boys have it harder than girls today.

Lee Chambers, founder and CEO of Mail Allies UK, which produced the report, said the findings show that “a lack of guidance and reliable information means many people are struggling to understand how to process the views they see every day, which is dividing opinion on some important topics”.

Speaking about widespread distrust of politicians, he also warned: “We need to take this distrust seriously, because it’s going to affect their long-held views of adulthood.”

The survey, which involved surveying 1032 boys in 37 British schools during the last academic year, comes at a time when conversations about concepts such as toxic are rising. bravery And the manosphere is growing, especially after the release of the hit Netflix show adolescenceLike with misogynistic influencers Andrew Tate Always getting more attraction.

The manosphere is a network of communities that create, consume and distribute online content for men and boys, which is largely anti-feminist.

Manosphere content is promoted by various influencers on popular social media platforms, the most notable of which is Tate, who rose to fame in 2022. He and his brother Tristan are currently under investigation in Romania for rape, human trafficking and money laundering charges, and in the UK for rape and human trafficking.

In recent years, there have been several incidents of violence that have been linked to manosphere content, communities promoting violence or spreading harmful ideas about women and girls.

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan are currently being investigated in Romania on charges of rape, human trafficking and money laundering, and in the UK on rape and human trafficking charges.

This content also harms men and young boys, preying on vulnerabilities and insecurities to promote unrealistic expectations and extreme measures, which can lead to poor self-esteem, mental health problems, and in some cases, suicide.

The new Boys in Schools report sheds light on this, highlighting boys’ fears about the pressures of growing up in the modern world, and showing that they are vulnerable to loneliness and feeling misguided as they struggle with balancing real life and online influences. Two-thirds (64 percent) said schools could do more to prepare them.

Opinions on feminism and masculinity were mixed, which suggests that the topics are not properly explained or explored at school or at home. While 32 percent said women’s rights are not very important, a majority of boys still think women’s rights are important (45 percent) or very important (23 percent) in the world today.

And one in five boys reported experiencing male peer action in the past month and felt proud to talk about it, but said it requires courage and that sometimes it can be difficult to call out friends on something.

The vast majority (79 percent) said it is not clear to them what masculinity is, with one boy saying that people always say what it shouldn’t be rather than what it is, and another boy echoing this: “It’s toxic, that’s all I’ve ever heard.”

Mr Chambers said: “We hear a lot about the toxicity of men in the media and poor role models for boys, but it is up to us to change this.

“Boys often have a tendency to give up in order to pursue it, but this report shows that many of them feel frustrated and misunderstood due to a lack of guidance.

“We need to pay more attention to the needs of boys and create support and stop doing it the same way we did it 10 or 20 years ago. It is more important now than ever to listen to the boys of our future.”
