Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday welcomed the group captain Shubanshu Shukla on returning to Earth from the International Space Station (ISS) and said that he had inspired one billion dreams through his dedication. The PM called the achievement an important step towards India’s Human Space Flight Mission Gaganan.
In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, “I joined the nation in welcoming Group captain Shubhinu Shukla as I return to Earth from my historic mission. He has visited the International Space Station (ISS) as India’s first astronaut, inspired one billion dreams through his dedication, courage and leading spirit.”
He said, “This is another milestone towards our own human space flight mission – Gaganan.”
SpaceX’s Dragon SpaceCraft ‘Grace’ successfully printed in the Pacific Ocean from the coast of California, including the first Indian to visit Pilot Group captain Shubhanshu Shukla, International Space Station (ISS).
