Omar Abdullah meets public in Rabita Outreach Office

Srinagar, August 6: Several delegations and public representatives called Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at the Rabita office here today to discuss many issues related to public infrastructure, traders’ issues, higher education, and technocrats opportunities.

The day’s busyness began with the meeting of members of the Legislative Assembly- ROUQU Ahmed Shah (Gulmarg), Sajjad Shafi (Uri), Irshad Rasol Kar (Sopore), Shafi Ahmed Wani (Birwah), and Pawan Gupta (Dampur West)- India illegally met.

Subsequently, a delegation of the Traders Federation of Shopian raised concerns of the local trade community. He demanded the government’s intervention to solve logistic challenges and improve market access to shop-based enterprises.

To highlight the lack of job opportunities for architects in Jammu and Kashmir, a separate delegation from the School of Architecture Kashmir met the Chief Minister. He urged the government to create posts and integrate architectural expertise for the urban development scheme.

A deputation representing the transporters and shopkeepers of the Old Batmalu General Bus Stand also came to the Chief Minister. They

Demanded a revival of commercial activity with basic restoration restoration at Batmalu.

The Chief Minister held a separate meeting with former minister and senior political leader Sajjad Ahmed Kitchen, who discussed the scenario of development in the Chenb Valley.

The score of the individuals also called the Chief Minister and made him aware of various personal and public concerns.

The Chief Minister gave a hearing of a patient to all the delegations and assured that the issues raised would be properly addressed through the concerned departments.
