Beed, 2 October (IANS) Maharashtra Environment and Climate Change Minister Pankaja Munde on Thursday stressed that the current reservation benefits of socially backward OBC communities should not be harassed by increasing the Maratha community.
In his speech at the Dussehra rally in Bhogan Bhakti Gad, the BJP leader said, “The groups that were identified and the groups that were identified and reservation benefits were given on the basis of social backwardness. The Maratha community cannot touch their quota by expanding equal benefits.”
Confirming the Mahayuta government’s commitment to the interests of the OBC, he said that 350+ OBC castes of Maharashtra should not be sidelined in the Maratha quota debate.
“CM has always protected OBC rights; we will not allow the weakening of 27 percent quota,” he said, pointing to the formation of a State Committee last month, only issued the Marathas with verified OBC heritage to issue a clan certificate.
Munde, who is also with the state’s animal husbandry department, said: “Even without a post, I will not leave the supporters – five people were lost in suicide before becoming an MLC.”
She further said that “When I am carrying forward the legacy of Gopinath Munde, I will fight for every caste and creed. Yesterday, members of the Dhangar community organized the movement demanding reservation, I was sitting with them. Gopinath Munde supported Maratha reservation, we have supported Maratha reservation. Kota.”
Munde’s address was a direct outreach for OBC voters, emphasizing safety from “conspiracy”, which dilutes their 27 percent quota stake.
His statement amid protests on Maratha and OBC Kota, especially after the government issued a government proposal to provide a government proposal to the Maratha community members on 2 September, a government proposal was issued in view of a protest made by Maratha Kota activist Manoj Jarang-Pheil, especially in Mumbai.
Munde urged the OBCs, Dalits and Bahujan to unite the caste lines to oppose the division strategy. “If anyone plots against oppressed, poor, or backward classes, we will ensure that they get an answer,” he announced, Maratha activist Manoj Jarang Patil’s parallel rally referred to Narayangad.
He criticized how incidents like vehicle accidents or crimes now instigated caste interrogation, said, “We do not want a society where the cruelty against a child questions about the caste of the criminal.”
On this occasion, Munde said, “I take an oath that the money and inheritance given to me by Munde Saheb has never found me. I will never bend you. Whether in power or in opposition, the common man’s interests will never be away from my heart.”
“I will preserve the legacy of Munde Saheb. I will fight for people of eighteen Pogar caste. I will fight for all castes,” he said.
He appealed to his supporters, “Eat less, but stay with self-respect. Don’t take anyone’s money, do not do false work or false business, do not follow goons, there is no need to do this. There are good things with good people. Lord Baba’s blessings are with him. I am proud of you.”
In particular, in the Dussehra rally, devotees of Sant Bhagwan Baba gather not only from Beed district, but also a large number of Gopinath Munde’s supporters Pankaja Munde to listen to Pankaja Munde.
