Ferrero, known for brands such as Nutela and Butterfinger, is taking the Sarel Company WK Kelog Private in a deal of about $ 3.1 billion.
The Pharreo Group will pay $ 23 for each celebrity share. The transaction includes the construction, marketing and distribution of the portfolio of the WK Kelog Company of Breakfast in the United States, Canada and Caribbean.
The brands of the kelogue include fruit loops, special, frosted flakes and rice crispy.
The deal, which still requires approval from the collegry shareholders, is expected to be closed in the second half of the year. Once the transaction is completed, the stock of the celebration will no longer trade in the New York Stock Exchange and the company will become a Furrero assistant.
