West Ham Manager Nuno Espirito Santo Has expressed hope that the club can now move beyond the controversies lucas paquetaAfter the midfielder’s apology, a recent red card.

“First of all, he apologized. He knows his mistake, but as a club we, first and foremost, protect ourselves and that’s how we sorted things out between ourselves,” Nuno said during a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

The manager emphasized the human element of the situation. He said, “It’s clear that everyone understands that in life, everyone knows that mistakes can happen inside the football pitch, sometimes emotions, you can’t control that.”
“But at the same time, everyone deserves a chance and that’s the case, we move on. He’s going to miss the game against Man United, but he’s going to be in the next game.”
Nuno acknowledged Paqueta’s problem. “He’s not OK, he’s suffering. He’s disappointed, sad, but he realizes his mistake and is willing to move on.”
“Sometimes people don’t know about it, there are all these problems football players have to deal with, but I think Lucas is going to overcome this situation.”
