“Nothing in Pakistan is beyond the reach of Indian Army”: LG Manoj Sinha

In a tough warning for Pakistan on their support to terrorist groups targeting India, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Saturday that there is nothing in the neighboring country which is beyond the reach of Indian armed forces.

Sinha said, “The whole world has seen the bravery of the Indian armed forces, and then he (Pakistan) has started arguing all over the world … We have never been in favor of war. We want to live peacefully,” Sinha deployed on the line of control in the Tangdhar region in Jammu and Kashmir while talking to army personnel.

He said, “Today, we are the fifth largest economy in the world and want to become the fourth largest economy in a few days. We are moving forward with the dreams of a developed India,” he said.

He accused Pakistan of bending “destroying humanity on the power of debt”.

“Our neighbor is bent on destroying humanity on the power of debt. I feel that they must have learned a lesson from the given answer. There is nothing in Pakistan that is beyond the reach of the Indian Army … Again, I salute your valor, bravery and devotion to Maa Bharati and whenever such a crisis comes, the country should know that our country is safe.

Earlier in the day, he visited the border area in the Tangdhar region and assessed the damage caused by Pakistan from across the border.

LG told reporters, “Many houses and commercial properties here have been damaged due to adverse shelling. Today I visited those places with a senior administrative officer, saw my eyes, and interacted with people, to understand their problems,” LG asked reporters.

“Based on the evaluation of the administration, possible immediate assistance. Some people are left for rehabilitation. But I think this help is not enough. Divisional Commissioner Kashmir and senior officials will jointly prepare a comprehensive plan for damage. On this basis, we will request the Indian government and rehabilitate the rest.”

Meanwhile, the Indian Army carried out a door-to-door outreach in villages near the Line of Control (LOC) in Poonach, which were severely affected by the recent Pakistani shelling.

As part of relief efforts, the army personnel distributed the necessary supply to the residents, including drugs and ration, while also interacted with them to understand their needs.

A local resident said, “Our territory was affected by shelling. The Indian Army has played a very important role on the borders and they are providing us relief material. We thank the Indian Army. We are standing in support of the Indian Army.”

“They are providing us ration. I pray to God for the long life of these army personnel. We are with them. As soon as they are bravely guarding the boundaries, we are also standing in solidarity with them in Poonach,” said another resident.

Intense shelling by Pakistan during a recent struggle with India has left a mark of destruction in the border villages and districts across the Line of Control (LOC) in Jammu and Kashmir, the local people suffer their homes and livelihoods. (AI)
