A total solar eclipse passed across North America on Monday, plunging cities in Mexico, the United States and Canada into darkness. The eclipse made landfall in Mazatlan, on Mexico’s Pacific coast, at 11:37 pm IST. This is the first total solar eclipse in North America since 2017.
