Santa distributed two billion gifts!

More than two hours after reaching the one billion gift mark, Santa managed to double the number of gifts he delivered

He has earned more than two billion rupees so far.

Shortly before delivering the two billion gifts, Santa flew back to Russia where he traveled to Norilsk, the world’s northernmost city, home to more than 100,000 people.

There are plenty of reindeer living in Siberia for Rudolph and his herd to say a fleeting hello as they fly through the scorching Arctic conditions.

After a brief visit to Siberia, they headed back to Kyrgyzstan, where Christmas is celebrated by the Orthodox Christian minority on January 7.

When will Santa come to your house?

While NORAD tracks Santa, they cannot predict where and when he will arrive at people’s homes.

Historically, it appears that Father Christmas only arrives when children are sleeping.

He estimates that in most countries, Santa arrives between 9 p.m. and midnight on Christmas Eve. If the children are still awake when Santa arrives, he moves to other houses. He returns later, but only after the children are asleep.

How many carrots will Santa’s reindeer need?

Researchers say that to deliver gifts to the approximately two billion children worldwide, Santa’s reindeer would need to eat about 30 million carrots around Christmas.

“Santa’s reindeer will not survive on a 2,000-calorie diet,” said Nicole Gugliucci, an assistant professor of physics at Saint Anselm College.

Scientists say the reindeer are primarily herbivores, with each carrot giving them about 25 calories, meaning it would take 29 million carrots divided among Santa’s nine reindeer to power his journey.

So when you leave out cookies for Santa, make sure there’s a carrot for the reindeer, too.

Santa’s sleigh enters North Korea

Santa’s sleigh has passed over Seoul and is now in North Korea, heading towards the capital Pyongyang.

The country of about 26 million people, led by dictator Kim Jong-un, does not usually celebrate Christmas.

In fact, in officially atheist states, Christmas is generally suppressed as a foreign, religious practice.

Despite this, it remains a part of Father Christmas’s route every year.
