The artist who depicted US President Donald Trump has criticized as a “purposely distorted” picture, stating that his comment has damaged his business.
Colorado removed Trump’s official portrait in the state’s capital building last month when the President complained that it was deliberately ineffective.
Trump wrote on his true social platform on 24 March, “Nobody likes a bad picture or his own painting, but in Colorado, in the state capital … along with all other presidents, was purposefully distorted.”
“The artist also did President Obama, and he looks amazing, but one is really the worst on me,” Trump said.
The 78 -year -old Republican called for taking the oil painting down, and said the artist, Sarah boardman said, “She must have lost her talent because she grew up.”
The Democrat-controlled Colorado legislature said the same day that Trump’s complaint that the painting would be removed from the gallery in Rotunda, Capital-where it was hung from 2019-and kept in storage.
The boardman replied to Trump’s criticism in a statement on his website, said he completed the work correctly “without” purposeful deformation, “political bias, or any effort to real or contain the subject. ,
